In her classic hit “What cha gonna do for me” Chaka Kahn uses her incredibily powerful, and soulful voice to ask the question "What cha gonna do for me".

The act of persuasion is used to touch an audience in three very different ways. Logos the use of reasoning and appealing to beliefs or values, ethos the use of credibility or reputation, and finally pathos the use of feelings and desires. The three are conceptually distinct, however, they do stay closely tied together through the common denominator of connection.

These three concepts can be utilized to get to the soul of a song. I would like to use them as I guide you through the song “What cha gonna do for me” by Chaka Khan.
